Norma holds a Bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. She is a retired elementary school teacher, fluent in Spanish. Norma has been an instructor since 2017 and is currently teaching ESL 2.
Mary has college experience and has worked various jobs in her life. She retired from the funeral industry and moved to Texas with her husband of 37 years. Her desire is to serve and help others learn. Currently, Mary works with the ESL-4 level on conversational and writing English.
June holds a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy and a Master of Science in Health Science Instruction. She worked as an OT, mostly for brain injury and trauma, and now loves to travel as she is retired. June has been an instructor here for 22 years! She currently works with the Basic Entry Level ESL students.
Asma was born in Iran and studied Adminstractive Managment, then went on to work for the government there for 32 years. She retired and moved to the United States 14 years ago. Asma will work with our ESL students in various classes and as a substitute instructor.
Sharon holds a Bachelor of Science from Abilene Christian University and a Master of Science from Fontbonn College. She has a teaching certificate and has worked as a speech therapist at schools, hospitals, clinics and long term care facilities. We welcomed Sharon to the team in 2021 and she works mainly with the Basic Entry Level ESL.

Susan holds an Assoicates Degree in Paralegal Studies. She is a United States Air Force Veteran and was deployed during Operation Iraqi Freedom. She has been employed by the Federal Government for over 26 years, working currently for the U.S. Department of Labor. Susan is the instructor for our ESL-1 classroom.
Louise holds a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies and Master's of Education in Teacher Leadership. Louise is a retired elementary and adult ESL teacher in California. She came to us in early 2023 and is working with our GED students on Language Arts.
Heather holds a Bachelor degree in Education with a math specialist certification and a Master's in Computer Management Systems. She taught elementary and middle school for 35 years in Arizona and Hunt, TX. She currently works as a math interventionist for K-5 in Hunt and with our GED Math students.
Clint holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, a Master of Arts in Education, and Ph.D. in Mathematics Education. He has been a teacher for over 6 decades, teaching students from middle school age through college. In 2019, Clint began as our lead GED Math instrutor and this year will transition to a tutor and substitue role.
Elsa holds an A.S in Computer Programming, a Bachelor of Science in Management and Organizational Behavior, an MBA, and a Doctorate in Management. She came to us after retiring from 42 years at Jet Propulsion Laboratories / California Institute of Technology. She's been instrumental in helping us integrate online curriculum in our GED Language classroom.
